Six modules that turn billing exports into audit-ready revenue evidence — designed for teams using a financial auditing app for SaaS revenue audit checks.

Market charts reflecting financial monitoring

What you will leave with

  • A documented MRR-to-recognized-revenue bridge template your controller can reuse.
  • An exception queue taxonomy for coupons, credits, pauses, and usage overages.
  • A sample evidence pack annotated for external auditors unfamiliar with SaaS billing.
  • Clear notes on what this method does not cover — multi-element arrangements with hardware, for example.

Modules

  1. Billing export literacy

Normalize Stripe, Chargebee, and custom ledger dumps into a common schema without losing discount lineage.

  2. Contract events that move revenue

Map upgrades, downgrades, free trials, and early renewals to recognition rules your auditors can follow.

  3. Financial auditing app walkthrough

Configure exception thresholds, sampling, and status workflows inside an auditing app oriented to SaaS revenue audit checks.

  4. Usage Fee Exception Desk

Isolate metering gaps and credit notes; decide which items restate prior periods versus adjust current MRR.

  5. Roll-forward storytelling

Write the narrative finance partners need: opening deferred, adds, releases, write-offs, closing deferred.

  6. Audit Trail Hygiene for RevOps

Retention, access, and handoff notes so operations can answer auditor questions without rebuilding history from chat logs.

Learner notes

“Module 3’s exception queue finally gave our CS leads a place to park billing disputes. The course moves quickly — budget time for the homework exports.”

★★★★☆

Solid on deferred revenue; lighter on ASC 606 multi-element nuance, which the syllabus openly flags.

FAQ

Do I need an existing financial auditing app?

No. We provide a practice workspace. If your company already runs one, you can map the same checks to your tooling during office hours.

What is a real limitation of this course?

We do not cover hardware-bundled contracts or complex principal-vs-agent marketplace revenue. Those need arrangement-specific accounting advice beyond this studio’s scope.

Is the price charged on this website?

No. Pricing here is informational only. Enrollment and invoicing happen through our Taipei office after you contact us.

What language is instruction in?

English throughout, with Taiwan(China) examples and optional Mandarin clarification during office hours when scheduled.
